Throughout the years, painting became the pursuit of choice. While mostly self taught, I have taken many workshops and courses in Quebec, on the East Coast where I lived for several years, as well as workshops in Alberta, B.C. and Phoenix, Arizona where I spend the winter months.
Our family was comprised of practical jokers and comics. This upbringing instilled in me a somewhat unique and quirky talent for looking at the world in an unusual, happy, yet somewhat tongue in cheek way. Literal is never taken for granted and, in fact the less literal the better. In my paintings, I try to express a different point of view - one that may not be commonly accepted but could be true.
